What Should I Be Able to Do in Google Docs?
To use Google Docs as a student, you should be able to:
Access Google Docs
Upload Word, PPT, and Excel files into Google Docs
Create new word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation documents.
Share documents with collaborators. This includes sending partners invitations by email.
Add inline citations and bibliographic references to a Google Doc using a citation manager like Zotero.
Embed a Google Doc in a Wikispace page so that it can be (1) viewed and / or (2) edited by others.
